Check these pics out, taken a short while ago by my wife - while standing in our back yard! The Thunderbirds are back. After having been grounded for AFA graduation and home football games last year (due to budget cuts) the red, white & blue F-16s are back in the air and doing a practice run for tomorrows air show. Those of us on the north end of town & especially the northwest, know the deafening roar of those bad boyz all too well. As a crow flies, our house is only a few mile south of Falcon Stadium and directly in the fly-over/turn-around path. They go over our house so low it rattles our windows and you can actually see the pilots -- as you can tell by these photos. How cool is Colorado Springs?!
