Check this out and share! On December 12th, 2014, activists held a rally outside of MP Shelly Glover’s officer in St.Boniface for war resister and author of “The Deserter’s Tale”, Joshua Key. Joshua saw unimaginable horror in Iraq on the part of fellow U.S. soldiers. He watched as fellow soldiers kicked around dead people’s heads like soccer balls. He says there was no visible enemy. Joshua served in Fallujah in the initial 2003 invasion of Iraq. Disillusioned he fled to Canada refusing to fight any longer. He was initially welcomed in Canada as a refuge but Stephen Harper’s administration has been trying to deport Joshua. If deported, Joshua faces decades in prison. He has a wife and children. He’s not being allowed to freely stay in Canada and there must be changes made so that his individual liberties are no longer infringed. Shelly Glover was not present at her office. Please share this video. Joshua’s story must get out further in Winnipeg. He’s well known in many many places, but Winnipeggers have stayed apathetic with his case. Please voice your support for him. He destroyed his life so he wouldn’t have to go fight in a war where innocent people were being killed while doing house raids on innocent families. He felt like the one terrorizing and while the terrorists in Iraq are reprehensible, there were hardly any in Iraq during the 2003 invasion. They came to where the soldiers were largely throughout the next decade. In this video there’s an anonymous man who comes up to Joshua and says he must be with the terrorists and with ISIS because he doesnt support the war. The man then praised Bush and claimed they were bombing OUR children. Somebody’s got it a little backwards.
