Checking in, blowing 50-60mph sustained in Hatteras Village right now with higher gusts that are rocking the house. So very grateful that everyone that needed to leave got out safely. Phew! Close call! it has been a long 24 hours shutting down houses and we are so grateful to the many guests that helped us by following, in many, many cases over and above the call of duty, the storm check out list. We are hunkered down, waiting for dawn, and amazed by all the good thoughts and well wishes coming our way. Thank you so much! Will try to update again in a few hours...Beth
