Twenty-four years later, shes using jump rope as a tool to make the world a healthier, fitter place. Robinson has spent a lifetime promoting active living. But what sets her apart from other fitness gurus is her love for intense physical activities -- and the fun she adds to them. A former amateur boxer and a current competitive jump roper, Robinson took gold in both the Jump Rope Burpee and Double Under competitions at this years Arnolds Classic in Columbus, Ohio. She also won the events bronze medal in Speed Jump Rope. The event was held by World Jump Rope, the worlds biggest jump rope organization. But despite her successes, Robinson is perhaps best known for her fun, high-energy workouts. On her Youtube channel, youll often see her incorporating dance into her intense jump rope routines. The workouts are set to a variety of music, ranging from Gospel to Beyonce, and they incorporate a variety of backdrops, from schoolyards to gyms. Robinson is currently using her talents to assist Bartendaz Inc, a division of non-profit Giant Thinking Inc. The groups goal is to push our youth and our communities to higher standards of physical, social and moral excellence.
