Cheers to the Patricia Ann Dance Team one and all....to all of our newest team dancers...wow! you made it through the Nationals madness with honors for your efforts in Gypsy First Place, Love of Music First Place and 2nd runner up for High Score Large group, Voodoo for 4th place which is a Huge honor in that jazz category that is soooo hard to place in at all...to our teen trio a first place, to our tap duet a first place...to Jeffery Watkins and Shannon Seiwert for coming so far in one year. Cheers to our first time DOTYs all..Sophia Marro, Brianna Boyd...and the dancers who did it AGAIN for DOTY, which I know doesnt always happen. To Eileen and Katherine for placing in the often really difficult Tap category. To Emily Walker who killed it and won our hearts in her two years on this team. To Ethan for always bringing his Musical Theater face to the stage and making everyone else step up to match it. To Kayla for WINNING her tap category....wow and double wow...next year top 13 for her! To our petites for getting out there and doing their very best in all their dances. To Kara Lysen for adding her strength and beauty to every dance she was in on stage. To Teagan Reed for being brave and not getting crushed by the pressure. And truly enchanting that enormous audience into silence with his solo...a definite win in my book. Elaine, Morgan, Chris , Sophia, Cara and I are so proud! You are all Dancers of the Year in our hearts... Rest, enjoy, take class, see Disney and then onward to our next year of goals!!!!
