**Cheesy Status Warning** Yesterday, after performing with Vintage Blue at Taste of Lincoln, Brian and I walked around the fest for a while and ended up on the opposite side watching one of the other bands. While I was enjoying the music, a woman tapped me on the shoulder and thanked me for bringing her joy. She told me how much she enjoyed watching me and that it brought her happiness. I was almost speechless, but thanked her for sharing and told her that her response is the exact reason that I perform. This interaction caused me to reflect on two very important things: 1.) Share with other people when they bring you happiness - it might affect them more than you can even realize. 2.) Many people dont understand why I have a job that requires me to work weekends - missing out on many activities that people who work a normal schedule get to participate in, but the happiness that I feel both when performing and from knowing other people have benefited from my performance is the reason. I sing because I dont know how to do any different and the fact that I am able to make a living while pursuing my passion is something that I am truly grateful for. “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask what yourself makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” - Howard Thurman
