Chef Tanisha made a yummy low cal frozen treat tonight. The concept came from my friend Charmaine, and I tweaked it a little. The variations that can be made are endless. 1 tub of healthy whip cream thawed (Read the labels because most of them contain hydrogenated oil and high fructose corn syrup. You can also just make your own with heavy whipping cream.) 1 cup of a grape nut type cereal. Pour just enough almond milk over the cereal to soften it. Let it sit for maybe 10 minutes and then mix it into the whipped cream. Add 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract 1/4 tsp of cinnamon 1/4 tsp of nutmeg Freeze for several hours until hard. The mixture will become rock hard, so microwave for 10 seconds at a time to soften enough to scoop out. 1/2 cup serving is 120 Calories
