“Cheikh Tidjani DIOP known by the acronym CTD, aka Black Diamond is a young rapper living in France. C.T.D. originally from Senegal and Mauritania; this being who is constantly situation in his time, in a world where every word has repercussions and every silence as also said the eminent philosopher Jean Paul Sartre; he felt from an early age his predisposition to a beautiful artist career and liability arising. His commitment to the triumph of truth is no longer to be proved through his beautiful pen and talents of great rapper, who made him an undisputed artist in modern hip hop sphere. Alongside his career as a rapper called Cheikh is an engineer in Financial Mathematics at the University of Le Havre in France. In 2011 he created his first projecy “Black Diamond” while he was still a student and knows through this Opus succesfully. He will return in September 2014 for the release of the second album called “Miin” (Me). The second album is a mixture of different musical colours (rock, reggae, dance hall, afrobeat etc.) It is mixed of French and Peulh, his mother tongue, is dotted with African touches. The public will be pleasantly surprised by the topics. C.T.D. is surrounded by professionals for the creation of this new album, professional musicians and especially managed by the sound engineer Olivier LEGOUPIL from ” Pick’Up Studio ” , where registered the follow personalities : Granville , Parc , Kim Novak , Simon Says , Mes Souliers sont rouges , Alain Markusfeld , Gullivan , Deluxe , Les Décalés du Bocage and others.”
