Chelsea duo bite back at Mourinho’s remarks. Luiz hits back at Chelsea boss remarks proclaiming me & Mata have nothing to prove at Chelsea. Chelsea defender David Luiz insists that he and Juan Mata have nothing to prove to Jose Mourinho except for their desire to be in the side. The Brazilian says he is not concerned about his Chelsea future, after being dropped from the side recently. The Brazilian international was dropped in the game against Fulham but he made a strong return against Swindon Town along with Juan Mata, who has been asked by his manager to prove his worth. Luis said as quoted by Sky Sports: “We don’t have to prove anything,” he said. “We just have to show that we want to play. Everyone had an opportunity to play and show our football and that’s it. The Brazilian was heavily linked with a move in the summer to several European heavyweights like P$G and Barcelona, while, it was extensively reported in the media that Mourinho is not a big fan of Luiz’ cavalier style of defending.
