Chelsea striker Diego Costa looks set to return to action this weekend. Manager José Mourinho confirmed earlier this week that the Spanish striker will be fit to face Queens Park Rangers on Saturday. Diego Costa has missed the last four games in all competitions for Chelsea since returning from international duty with Spain. The £32 million summer signing has made a stunning start to his Premier League career with nine goals in his first seven Premier League appearances for the Blues. As a result, Chelsea have a four-point lead over Southampton at the top of the Premier League and six-points ahead of their closest rivals for the title, Manchester City. These photos of Diego Costa in training were taken on Thursday and suggest the striker is back to full health: Chelsea are heavily favoured to pick up three points with or without their star striker this weekend when they welcome Queens Park Rangers to Stamford Bridge. Harry Redknapp’s side have picked up only two wins from their first nine games this season – against poor performing Sunderland and Aston Villa. The Rs have looked poor this season, conceding a league high 18 goals heading into the weekend and being thrashed by both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. Anything less than a comfortable victory for Mourinho’s side would be a surprise. The match is all set up for Diego Costa to score on his return before Chelsea host Maribor in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
