Chelsea was having a lot of pain on Monday. We thought she may have had a collapsed lung . They did her chest Ct on Monday which showed her lung to be stable but there was more fluid in chest cavity which was causing pain and pressure to her chest and shoulder. Today she was still having a lot of pain so they had her rest in the clinic until her appointment so they could monitor her vitals . Her stats were good but she was feeling a lot of pressure and hurt to breath when she was laying on her back or side . So tomorrow she will be getting another chest tube to drain the fluid from her chest because the fluid is keeping the lung from completely expanding. She will be in hospital for several days until all fluid is drained. They will start new chemo while inpatient . Her new chemo treatment plan can also cause fluid build up so she will have to be monitored closely while on her treatment . She will also be given steroids before her chemo to help with the fluid build up. She has about six small tumors in plural space and there may be a very small one on her left lung hard to tell because it is so small. They will watch it but praying its nothing . Praying this new treatment will be the one that answers all of our prayers. Praying for Gods Miracle for Chelsea!
