Chelsea, you are still Top Dog and #1 in Nurse Dog - TopicsExpress

Chelsea, you are still Top Dog and #1 in Nurse Dog department. Bailey alerts me when I am having chest pains (detects an enzyme that is released when heart is stressed) and when I am having breathing problems. Bailey also rushes over to keep me from trying to get up if I collapse or she thinks I did (many times I kneel on floor while on phone and she thinks I need assistance so she is there and climbs on me to make sure I am ok). However, If I lay down with Chelsea, or beside Chelsea, she knows I am just snuggling or cuddling and lets me alone - except if she wants attention too ;) . Last night, I bent over to straighten out Chelseas bed (material pad on it) and fell over dizzy (pulse rate rapid change). Bailey saw me laying half on bed, half on floor. Jumped down to nudge me then climbed back on her bed. Every time I tried to get up. I could not. Chelsea realized there was a problem. She wiggled her way beside me and put her head on my chest and paw on my shoulder (like she did with Ann to keep her still). After 15 minutes, BP & Pulse stabilized and I could get up. Chelsea heard me awake last night afterwards (got little sleep) and kept putting her nose in the air like she was trying to find me and make sure I was there and alright. Good Girl Chelsea. You are still my Top Dog Nurse. Special Treats today for you and Bailey... and a nap with a lot of Hugs & Kisses :)
