The youngster has worked under the management of Mourinho before so it would take him no time to fit into the team. Paul Pogba Age: 21 Club: Juventus Estimated price: £60m The young Juventus star would be a great partner for Matic and recently signed Fabregas in the heart of the Chelsea midfield. The physical prowess and flair the trio would pack would be an unbeatable force. Pogba has recently shone for France in the world cup with his pinpoint passing and powerful driven runs, he would be warmly welcomed by the blues. Diego Costa Age: 25 Club joined from: Athletico Madrid Price: £32m After scoring 27 times for Madrid last season he caught the eye of many European clubs but obviously something very special at Chelsea persuaded him to join. With the poor season the blue’s strikers had and with the midfield having to supply a large percentage of goals hopefully Costa will put an end to the flops of many Chelsea strikers. However, his passing, composure and passion made some fans rather upset about his departure. Players released Ashely Cole Age: 33 Club moved to: Roma Ashley Cole sadly parted his ways with Chelsea after a successful and unforgettable eight years with the club he loved. With young and up and coming stars Cole was being pushed to the bench for a large proportion of the 2013/14 season which meant he was looking for a new club. Ashley recently signed for Roma for free. Frank Lampard Age: 36 Club moved to: Free agent After making a phenomenal 429 appearances for Chelsea and scoring a record of 211 goals as a centre midfielder Frank Lampard was released by Chelsea. Lampard was struggling to make the Chelsea side regularly due to the young talent Chelsea have in the centre of the pitch which were signed to replace him for the future. Lampard has not signed for a new club yet but he is rumoured to go to QPR or new side New York City. However, this would mean Cech would have to be sold, because someone of his standard is not a substitute goalkeeper. With various links to Monaco and PSG the Chelsea legend could be out of the doors soon. Romelu Lukau Age: 21 Estimated price: £18m Rumoured clubs: Wolfsburg, Tottenham, Valencia With Mourinho admitting that Lukaku will have no place in Chelsea’s first team due to the new signing of Diego Costa and with Lukaku himself saying he doesn’t want to go out on loan again who will Lukaku sign for? Various clubs want the signature of the young Belgium and we could be expecting his departure very soon.
