Chemical Spill on Kenhill Drive, Pembroke Hall. The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) has received confirmed reports of a chemical spill from Kenhill Drive onto Marlie Mount Drive in the Pembroke Hall vicinity. Reports are that three hundred and eighty gallons of liquid cleaner containing hydrochloric acid leaked from a container transporting the chemical. A team from the Jamaica Fire Brigade and the National Environmental Planning Agency was dispatched and the area has been secured and the chemical neutralized. Clean-up efforts are continuing. There are no reported injuries or casualties.
