Chemo Week 16 Tj had a busy day. He woke up super excited about the snow. The first time it snowed this year TJ was in the hospital overnight getting chemo and it all melted before he had a chance to touch it. The second he walked outside today he laid down and made a snow angle :) It took a longer time to get to the hospital because roads were bad but we made it safely! Tj did absolutely amazing today. He helped me put his numbing cream on his port before we left the house (hes never been cooperative with this before). Once we got to clinic he went right in and did his blood pressure, temp, height & weight without fussing or prompting at all. He even accessed and deaccessed his port today without crying!!! Yay!!! & he called his nurse by name for the first time. Which made everyone in clinic smile! Her name is Julie but when Tj says it it comes out Jewwwie. Tj got his monthly antibiotic today which takes two hours. His blood counts were definitely low again but they are hanging right in the line so he didnt need a transfusion. He got two chemotherapy medicines today. Back next week assuming all goes well & no fever :) & he enjoyed wearing his NEGU hat! Jessie Rees Foundation: Never Ever Give Up
