Chemo was actually pretty crapy for Jay today. It took a few pokes to get him accessed because of his new port. He was very emotional all day. His new Duffy bear went everywhere with him today!! Even into the procedure room at the hospital. He did get to eat at Mellow Mushroom where a very nice family bought our lunch unbeknownst to us. When we got home he had a fashion show laying on the couch. He is in a lot of pain tonight and has been crying on and off saying he doesnt feel well and he just wants to be a normal kid. We cant tell you how much the kindness of others helps to make those moments easier as we help Jay to try and focus on the positive. We were able to discover that fresh air helped with the icky tummy and head feeling so that was good too.
