Chemtrails over Canberra. A photo of a sequential line of contrails over Canberra on the 21 St November 2014 developed into a predictable frenzy by chemtrail believers on the relevant ABC News Facebook page. The usual suspects appeared on the comments with hyperbolic, unsubstantiated claims. PECATCH would like to make the following points. 1, Since Geo-Engineering must take place high in the stratosphere then it would be instructive to find out at what height the tropopause was near Canberra at the time. This is easily done via the Australian Bureau of Meteorology online pages. The Sigwx charts reveal that the tropopause over Canberra at the time was around 45,000 feet. Simply select the AUS 00z chart on the 21 November at this site to confirm. aviationwxchartsarchive/product/sigwx 2. The trails appeared spot on one of the most densely traveled air-routes in the world Sydney to Melbourne. If any aircraft were flying above 45,000 feet on this route, they should have been visible on FlightRadar24 via the history features. The following link shows the number of aircraft that were over 45,000 feet in the area at the time... flightradar24/.../20:19/12x/-34.64,147.24/7 None. The following link however shows the number of commercial jets that were in the area at the time, including a line of five airliners all departing Sydney within minutes of each other and heading down the air-route.. flightradar24/.../20:34/12x/-34.94,146.78/7 These are the aircraft that made those contrails. Were conditions conducive to the formation of contrails. One of our favourite met sites Earth confirms that not only was the RH very high but a strong north westerly breeze was blowing, which accounts for the line phenomenon. earth.nullschool.net/#2014/11/20/0900Z/wind/isobaric/250hPa/overlay=relative_humidity/orthographic=-211.06,-34.17,2404 So after 10 minutes researched we have the sighting explained. The question is why chemtrail believers never do basic research before making fools of themselves?? https://facebook/abcnews.au/photos/a.10150844703979988.524484.72924719987/10153447215639988/?type=1&comment_id=10153449649474988¬if_t=like
