Cheney has no regrets about the torture carried out by CIA operatives. He would do it again in a minute. He is not concerned or bothered about the innocent men that were held and tortured. Obama does not condone or justify the torture. But he won’t prosecute those responsible. He does not want to look backward but move forward! One has to suppose that moving forward means replacing torturing innocent people with killing them. Best not to get our hands dirty. Let the drones do the dirty job. No apologies. No prosecution of the guilty. The killing of innocents goes on. Wait a bit. US does not torture people. Ask Bush. It was just enhanced interrogating technique. Ask Cheney and Rumsfeld about it And US does not kill innocent people. It is just collateral damage! Ask Obama about it. Are we going forward?
