Cheryl Edwards-Henderson October 14 · For years his feet had not been trimmed correctly because of the lack of knowledge to address foundered capsules that had developed his complications. He is a heavy horse 15.2 and about 1100 lbs. He really lucked out as the Red Bluff stables had grassy area fenced so he didnt have to stand in a stall over the weekend. He came out of his trailer soaked. Severe claustrophobic the travel is not pleasant. He was trimmed each day and then could rest and wander around to help him get use to his new angles. He stood parked and was uncomfortable in his body. We rubbed him and used the red laser and took him on therapy walks to help him reconnect a good stride. This was a big leap forward for him. The last day was really beneficial as it addressed the embedded bar in the fulcrum. He had huge purple bruisings showing long term damage just trying to walk around. So with his capsule not interfering with his articulation and then the relief of removing the excess bar it was fabulous to see his stance go to normal. Under all the bar that was over the sole the bruising was now appearing.
