We need the luck; since we cannot replace these FTs by our local birth rate alone.. Our hope is that the newly minted citizens also wake up to the fact that they are just digits used once to balance the locals at the ballot box; and once used, replaced by the next batch of newly minted citizens… and the cycle continues… The only flaw to this policy is to hope for an economic downturn that is so severe that most of our newly minted citizens (along with the FT PRs) decide to uproot and return to their homeland… and then hopefully, the locals will be there in sufficient numbers to tilt the balance back to our favour; otherwise it will be a constantly uphill battle… the future is indeed bleak… but soldier on we must!
