Even VP, Al Gore’s father, a US Senator was a KKK member, along with many southern Democratic politicians voted against the 1964 Civil Rights Act. If it wasn’t for Republicans the 1964 CR Act would have failed. President Harry Truman and Senator Robert Byrd, along with other prominent Democrats were KKK members, in their early political lives. Today Democrats don’t control Black American’s with the KKK. They control them by keeping them on the Government’s Plantation.
