Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival is anchored in back-to-back - TopicsExpress

Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival is anchored in back-to-back three-night runs by The String Cheese Incident and Steve Earle, both making their first CBB appearances. Lucero also takes its first headlining turn with a date at Concord Music Hall, while Robert Randolph & the Family Band share the stage with Soulive’s Eric Krasno at City Winery. The fest kicks off at SPACE on January 9th, as Eddy “Chief” Clearwater celebrates his 80th birthday and third time on the CBB stage. Greensky Bluegrass returns for the second consecutive year, wrapping up the series six weeks later at the House of Blues.
