Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose will make his return to Manila as part of his D-Rose Tour for Adidas. The tour, which will take the 2011 NBA Most Valuable Player around Europe and Asia, includes a three-day visit to the Philippines from September 14 to 16. Rose was last in Manila in July 2011 to play in a pair of exhibition games during the NBA lockout. The games, dubbed the SMART Ultimate All-Star Weekend, featured Rose teamming up with Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and Chris Paul, among others, against a PBA selection and the SMART-Gilas Pilipinas national team. -MAEd The Bulls lead man missed the past NBA season because of a left knee injury.
