So much for hoping that Halloween plans would just manifest like a friendly spirit. Now Oct. 31 is here and youre about to be as disappointed as a trick-or-treater handed a toothbrush. Luckily, these 10 bashes either dont require reservations or have plenty of space left for scrambling slackers. Now all you have to worry about is scaring up a costume. Andy Warhol Halloween Party 8 p.m.-2 a.m. Oct. 31 at Public Chicago 1301 N. State Parkway 312-787-3700 The Gold Coast hotel pays tribute to the pop artist with $12 Absolut Warhol vodka cocktails such as bloody marys served in Campbells soup cans and The Warhol, a mix of yellow chartreuse, orange bitters, sour mix and champagne served with a tiny paintbrush as a stirrer. The spot also doles out free flatbreads and awards a $500 gift card to Public Chicago and Pump Room for the best costume. No cover. Mad Men Halloween Party 7 p.m. Oct. 31 at D.O.C. Wine Bar 2602 N.
