Chicago Irish Immigrant Support has a job opening for a full-time social services position, based in Chicago, IL. Chicago Irish Immigrant Support (CI-IS) is a not-for-profit immigration and social services provider catering to the needs of the Irish and Irish American community in Chicagoland and beyond, is seeking a Social Work Case Manager. Job Requirements: Masters degree in social work Experience in a direct social services setting Ability and willingness to become a licensed social worker in the state of Illinois Valid drivers license Ability to work well as a member of a small team where flexibility and collaboration are frequently required Responsibilities: Coordinate senior group programs to meet the social, educational, and cultural needs of group attendees. Provide ongoing community based social work case management services to vulnerable and isolated seniors including comprehensive assessment, service referrals, wellbeing checks, emotional support, and coordination with other agencies and family members. Work to develop the reach and scope of the social services program as we strive to grow the organization and its mission to meet the needs of the Irish community in Chicagoland and beyond. Maintain accurate records and case notes. Prepare regular reports for the Board of Directors and donors.
