Chicago has a particular kind of music politics. Ive been to the UK and other European places but Chicago is special, if were speaking about the world in general. Chicago is a town that thrives on mudslinging and flat out fabrication of information. Chicago is a music town full of musicians and that has created a sector of men who hate what musicians can do. Chicago is also the birth place of the House sound. This legacy is important to Chicago as well as the rest of the world. Deejays in Chicago take advantage deejays from other countries by not being truthful about the artists and other deejays that live in Chicago. Its very important to some deejays that they become producers. Most deejays just want to be know as producers because thats where the publishing money winds up. Producers are the closest a person can get to becoming a musician. To be known as a great musician is a producers dream. I produce all of my records alone and Im the musicians favorite musician. In terms of negative press, Chicago deejays attack me the most because I have a great deal to offer. Im that guy. There is no negative press about me in print from anyone. If so, its a deejay. Isnt it interesting that everyone loves me accept those who want my talent. When they realize they cant have it, they start running their mouths off. Not a coincidence. My achievements musically eclipse any artist or deejay in music with out question but that never makes it to the press. Its good enough for Berkley Music Carson Daly and New York magazine but not enough for a deejay? B.S.I have a right to point out such an obvious railroading from the deejay community. I make hit records and you show your appreciation by saying you made them to whom ever will listen, by saying a child genius is an addict in efforts to ruin my reputation. People scream about the records and not the deejays. As a child genius, Ive been scaring grown men with my talent since I was 7yrs old. I laugh at it. Im not rotten enough to say I produced a song that I didnt like Roy Davis Jr. did for my song Gabriel or the many other producers who should stay deejays. The things a person will destroy to keep from failing just postpones that failure. Dont let Chicago deejays ruin your view of what Chicago artists are all about. Dont look to get an honest take from people who are in obvious competition with the person you are inquiring about. You will never get an unbiased take. If you need a spokes person thats a Chicago artist and void of nonsense, Im your man. If you go with the best you make the most regardless so dont believe a blacklist. What is there to show for having it? His trash may be your treasure but you will never know if you trust is words more than your brain.
