Chicken Pot Pie 1 med can Veg. All drained 2 cans chicken broth + 1 tbs. cornstarch mixed 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 med. Can chicken breast or (2 boiled breast chopped) ¼ tsp rubbed sage 1 tbs. dried parsley 1 stick butter melted pour over crust 2 ½ c. self rising flour ¾ c. buttermilk ¼ c. Veg. oil 1 med onion chopped 1/8 tsp salt ¼ tsp black pepper ¼ stick melted butter mix with vegetables Garlic salt Preheat oven 350 deg. In a lg. mixing bowl add flour dried parsley, sage and mix up. Add milk and oil stir up making dough. Pour onto a floured flat surface sprinkle with flour and roll out dough to desired thickness cut into wide strips. Using a 9x13 baking dish grease with butter set aside. Using a large mixing bowl add veg all, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, chicken meat, add salt, pepper and ¼ c. melted butter and onions mixing well. Pour into baking dish Top with dough strips pour over remaining butter and sprinkle garlic salt to taste over crust. Bake until crust is a golden brown. Enjoy.
