Chicken & Shrimp Alfredo (easy but not diet friendly) 1lb - TopicsExpress

Chicken & Shrimp Alfredo (easy but not diet friendly) 1lb uncooked boneless skinless chicken 1/2lb raw peeled & deveined shrimp 1-2 Jar(s) of your favorite Alfredo cheese sause. (I prefer Ragu) 1 packet of Sazon Goya seasoning 1 heaping teaspoon of minced garlic in olive oil or can use fresh (i like a lot of garlic lol) 1 stick of real butter 1 box fettucine pasta S&P & Old Bay to taste 1: cook noodles al dente, drain & set aside 2: in a large skillet on medium heat, add your butter then chicken. 3: cook til there are about 5-6 mins left before completely done 4: add in shrimp, old bay, minced garlic & Sazon packet. Mix, cover & cook til Shrimp have curled & turned a pretty pink 5: Turn off flame & add in alfredo sauce mix & taste to adjust the seasoning. (I never measure just dip a spoon to taste while making) 6: let the flavors meld for about 5 mins while warming the sauce throughout 7: in a large serving dish make a bed of noodles & pour the alfredo mixture on top & serve Family Style with buttermilk bisquits or fresh garlic Texas toast This was self learned so feel free to tweek it if you must. SB: I sometimes toss in fresh spinach leaves & Roma tomatoes when I toss in my shrimp to add in veggies & the kids still luv it. Enjoy
