Chicken coop in, and cleaned.....straw added and now to get the posts so I can get them put in and fence line run so they can begin using it. 11 chickens...well 8 hens and 3 roosters. Thank Goodness my husband loves me as he worked very hard digging out the spot and then wenching the building up the hill so we could get it spun and into place. We worked so hard until 10:30 last night. Thank you Abbey for your assistance where you was needed..... It has been an hour of working this morning (7:30-8:30) to get it set up until posts arrive...so by evening I hope to have the 8 tucked safely away in their own coops again. Homemade bread is served as well as squash for them this morning. I must say and it brings tears to my eyes to realize each day how blessed we truly are with good people in our lives. From one post came a friend to assist to get us where we are today. Blessings have come by the loads lately and it just shows me how many will try and do us harm but God always prevails and shows us how their are others out there actually looking to do good. My husband is a very hard worker and does what ever he can to support us even when there ends up with extra mouths to feed and bodies to cloth, and he truly was my blessing in the end, as my body fails he is there to pick up the slack in the end, even in the little things.....now if I can make my lil ones see that every little bit that is done counts when it comes to helping......I may not have friends but I have a very loving and supportive family when all else fails....and in the end...that right there is what I have been searching for my entire life, yet I failed to see it until the worst hit......
