Chickens, Chickens, Chickens! The Los Angeles North Central City Shelter is filled with Chickens as a result of helping out someone who had way too many. Today Candi Cooper, from The Sweet Water Ranch Rescue Inc., pulled 48 chickens and 6 ducks. It was a great group effort at North Central. A lot of staff took great care to work together to process these birds as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Those that helped were RVTs Andrea Sidoti, and Gary Anderson, along with ACT Marissa, ACT Supervisor Garens Lloyd, Clerk Margo Gonzalez and Senior Clerk April Acord. Without their help and dedication this great feat would not have been seamless. Here are the freedom photos. Alongside Candi and I are private adopters. She promises to come back every week with more adopters until all our chickens are rescued.
