Chickens and Police Commissioners Come Home to Roost: If you dont live in New York City then you really cant comprehend the gravity of the current situation. NYC Police Commissioner William Bratton was also commissioner of police during the Rudy Americas Mayor Giuliani administration. The Giuliani administration was one of the most brutal on record. 4 police officers shot unarmed African immigrant Amadou Diallo 41 times in front of his Bronx apartment building after asking him for identification. Diallos only crime was compliance...he was reaching for his wallet. Anthony Baez was also murder by police officers in The Bronx on Giulianis watch. Baez and his brothers were playing in the street and their football hit a police car...an altercation ensued and Baez was placed in a choke hold...need I say anymore about that? Although he was not killed Abner Louima probably thought he was gonna die...as police officers held him down in a room at Brooklyns Seven-Oh precinct and rammed a broomstick repeatedly into his rectum. I dont know what that has to do with police work...do you? Those are just three...of the THOUSANDS of case-files that piled up on the desks of administrators at the Civilian Complaint Review Board during Giulianis regime. If you look at the Giuliani administration like a Mafia family, Rudy was the Don. That would make Police Commissioner William Bratton the Underboss. You would not believe the level of unconditional support criminal police officers enjoyed during the Giuliani/Bratton era.
