Chief Onoriode Etemire Vs Barr. Afohokor Danjuma Duncan OUR POSITION Having read through the report of the panel which was presented to the house, it was discovered that the said report was inconclusive. …………….. It is empirically clear from the above that the issue at hand need an urgent attention in order to bring peace and confidence back to the house with due regards to equity, justice, good conscience, and customs of our lsoko tradition. Consequent upon the above , the leadership of IPASS took over the matter in order to find a lasting solution and as well put the issue to final rest once and for all. To those who have read through the report can see that it puts us in a state of dilemma since it gave a 50-50 judjement from the constitutional ground on one hand and the norms, culture, customs and tradition of Isoko as a tribe. Bearing in mind that this is a case between a lawyer and a traditional chief of Isoko land. After due consultation with some BOT members, elders in the group, meaningful and respected society men during our brainstorming session, the following decision was reached : OUR DECISION In the light of peace and respect the house has always stood for, we unequivocally and objectively looked into the matter with all sense of justice and ultimate respect to our sacred lsoko tradition, we hereby decides that Barr. Afohokor Duncan Danjuma should tender an unreserved apology to his elder brother and friend Chief Etemire in writing through this medium within 48 hours so we can forge ahead. I want to humbly appeal to my leaders and friends Chief Etemire and Barr. ADD in the interest of IPASS and lgbide to warmly embrace this bold step and jointly return this assembly to her core objective. Special thanks to all forumites for your prayers and advises. We thank you all for your understanding and cooperation. PEACE BE UNTO THIS HOUSE GOD BLESSES IPASS. Signed Admin 17th January, 2015. CC: Chief Onoriode Etemire Barr. Afohokor D.
