Chief Update and Video: The 14 year old Shih Tzu we rescued from a puppy mill last Friday is doing well. After a complete veterinary assessment it was determined he is suffering with arthritis, ear infections, limited vision (shadows) probably caused by years of eye irritation (dirt & hair in his eyes) as well as old age, skin infection, loss of hair and congestion/coughing. He is being treated with medications and doing well. And as you can see in this video, he LOVES being massaged. Chief is a happy boy and enjoying life in his foster home. He will soon be available for adoption.
