Chiefs are using tomorrows clash with Mochudi Centre Chiefs as preparation for their participation in next years CAF Champions League. The match has been billed as Clash of the Champions with Centre Chiefs the current champions of Botswana, while Chiefs are the domestic champions in South Africa. Chiefs are without the services of Itumeleng Khune, Tsepo Masilela, Reneilwe Letsholanyane, Tefu Mashamaite, Siphiwe Tshabalala and Bernard Parker who are all on international duty with Bafana Bafana. Nonetheless, the Glamour Boys are said to have taken a very competitive squad to Gaborone with the likes of Erick Mathoho, Keegan Ritchie, Siyabonga Nkosi, Lehlohonolo Majoro, George Lebese, Willard Katsande, Siboniso Pa Gaxa, Josta Dladla, Ivan Bukenya, Morgan Gould and Mandla Masango in their ranks. Coach Stuart Baxter has explained why the club are using the match as preparations for next years CAF Champions League campaign. He told the clubs official website, We are going to Botswana for a win. Every time we go onto the pitch, we want to win and it will be no different in Gaborone. The conditions will be different. It will be very hot and probably the pitch will be difficult as well. The opponents will be a different type from what we play against week in and week out. It is good for our preparations for CAF next year where we will be facing similar opponents. The action gets underway from 19h00 at the National Stadium in Gaborone. #DPK
