Children have a beautiful sense of compassion that we can all learn from. This 10-year old girl, dying of brain cancer, wanted to serve the homeless in her community and keep them warm. The Make-a-Wish Foundation granted her wish and delivered blankets to homeless youth in her community, along with ingredients to make her special soup. She could have gone to Disneyland or watched Cartoon Network all day, a boy from the program told the Arizona Republic. But she decided to help us. That takes heart. If you want to serve the homeless of Dallas, consider joining one of our Giveaways or making a donation to support our efforts. homelessnexus.org/donate/ homelessnexus.org/shop/ besecular/besecularstore/ absenceofclothing/products/tgia
