Children in Pre-Prep had very special guests to their assembly on Tuesday morning. The children were delighted by the visit of Emilio’s Dad, Mr Lucchesi who brought his dog Casper and Andy Clarke from the charity Woofability. Mr Clarke explained to the children how he was involved in training dogs to support disabled people in their homes. He showed us how a dog can empty the washing machine and pick up pieces of mail. Not to be outdone, the Lucchesi’s dog, Casper, showed us how he can remove socks! Emilio held onto the chair tightly as Casper tugged at his socks! Before we all returned to class, we sang ‘How much is that doggy in the window’ accompanied by the dogs barking at the appropriate time, while the children sang ‘woof woof’! We are very grateful to Mr Lucchesi for organising these lovely visitors to our school.
