Children need money for food, shelter, clothing, medical, & money for other important things, to insure that they live adequately regardless of your personal feelings & perceptions. You help make them, so you should help take care of them. If taking care of them means you cant do all the things you enjoyed doing financially before you had them, then you should have thought about that before you put yourself in the position to have to be a parent, because the care & welfare of your children once you have them, is now your primary responsibility. If you are the parent/guardian receiving (CS), it is not designed to be the way you make your living. Your kids shouldnt be going without living as if they dont have any parents, & you look single & or like you dont have any responsibilities. That money is for your children & everything associated with their needs & development, including their present & future education, not for you to spend it on yourself or anyone/anything else. Children dont ask to be here, & they cant take care of themselves or choose their parents.
