Children of Disobedience • The lukewarm water of Laodecia was contaminated. Drinking contaminated water contaminates the body. When the body is contaminated, then the offspring will be contaminated too. Ezek. 18:2 What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge? • You give birth to what and who you are. And typically you will draw like minded people to yourself. So, if you look up and realize that you always have drama around you, then you are drawing it! If your friends are carnal then you are carnal. Birds of a feather do flock together. • You influence by your actions not your words. 1John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. So, you can talk a good game and preach a good message, but if you are not consistent with your beliefs then your message is not proven. We cant just believe the bible without application. James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. • Double standards births double mindedness and without choosing a side, we are useless like lukewarm water. Hot and cold are useful but middle of the road is useless to God. Rev. 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Why even preach a Gospel of no standards?
