Children often lead the way. The innocent heart often sees what the conditioned mind and politicized ego only distorts. Each of us have a child-like innocence of heart, capable of assuming good, hoping for better, and imagining the best, but it requires more moral courage than agreeing with the powerful and privileged or following the crowd. It requires humility, an openness to wonder, a release of certainty and a suspension of judgment.
