Children remember criticism , they remember when your critical of there appearance , of their accomplishments , of their talents ... Belittling a child will do more damage to their self confidence than just about anything else when it comes from someone who is supposed to be their source of encouragement.You have two choices you can influence a child to do better , be better , and want to succeed . You can be the person they credit for the person they become who encouraged and loved them inspite of themselves and their short comings or you can be the dad your children discuss with their therapists ... your choice
