Children’s Fall Art Classes 2013 "The journey truly is the destination when it comes to doing art.” These classes focus on developing a technical toolbox of skills (shading, perspective, color theory, and composition, just to mention a few) with each child. While each class is not end-product minded, the children will be learning on a continual basis much like learning to do math, with a very definite progression. This method of learning over time, without pressure, creates a better work of art in the end. The children develop their eye and their own style. I believe in giving children the chance to really develop their imagination through age appropriate fun two and three dimensional projects. The children will explore modified clay, collage, drawing, acrylic, watercolor paints, and printmaking while also learning art history as many of the projects are related to the master artists of the past and present.
