Chile have never won against Brazil at the World Cup. They met in the semi final of the 1962 WC at the Nacional Studium in Santiago, & the Selecao broke the hearts of more than 70 thousands Chilean fans by crushing Chile 4/2, & they could do nothing to stop Vava & Garrincha from dominating the game. And then they met again 36 years later in France 1998 at the round of 16 and it was Ronaldos show as he lead Brazil to a 4/1 victory, even Zamorano & Salas couldnt save the Chilean collapse. And in South Africa 2010 they met again at the round of 16 & once more it was a one side match as Brazil ended up winning 3/0. So this would be the third time for them to meet at the round of 16 & the fourth time overall. Based on this historical results & numbers & adding to this that the Selecao will play in front of their home crowd, it has to be said that the odds r definitely not in the Chileans favor & if they won tonight it will go down as one of the biggest shocks in WC history.
