Chilled out, caught up on gossip, and watched THE FISHER KING with my BFF Jessica last night (she had never seen it!) ... reclined on the big mommy bed as Jesss girls Maddy and Marley did their homework and checked in with their sassy smiles through the door from time to time, snacked on pizza and peach wine coolers (the girls had DIET COKE, by the way!), and drank in the amazlingly poignant yet bittersweet message once again that makes this Robin Williams movie one of my TOP TEN FAVORITES of all time. Of course, Jessica just wanted the fabulous leopard-print pants that Mercedes Ruehl was wearing in one scene ... but I digress! Seriously, it was the spriitual medicine I needed for the day and made me thankful for the journey, no matter how uncertain right now. I MADE IT THIS FAR! ...and this morning, I heard Charlene and Sandy make fun of me on 2 Girls And A Mic on WKMX in their own unique way and then listened to BELIEVE by Cher on the radio as I drove out of the parking lot to start my day ... and embraced the fact that God loves me and always will and never gives up on me!
