Chills & tears. Its not that it was done, but who did it. You detect no arrogance. No condescendence. Just American military who seem to me to be more devoted to giving and to serve and protect those listening. That is a profound truth about our men and women in uniform. They are the best on Earth. They are the most educated segment of our population. We are lucky to have them. That is why I never pass a uniformed American from any military branch without shaking their hand and thanking them. That includes ANYONE wearing a hat or anything from any war or branch that I see. In all the years, none has ever been anything less than thankful back to the point that I get choked up every time, like I am now.
