China just launched their first mission to the moon. 34 years after an American team WALKED on the distant planet, China is only now attempting to reach the moon. They are sending an unmanned probe to chart the moons landscape. I love how most people think China would have the upper hand in a war with the U.S., just because they have a larger population (at least thats the general idea I hear most often). China could NOT even launch a rocket off of the ground until 1998, and that was only after the Clinton administration sold them the technology to do so. And even then they only had 1/5 successful launches. So, why would China be a formidable opponent in a war? Anyone......anyone?
