Chinese Government Scholarship Category and duration of funding & language of instruction 1. This project recruits postgraduate students and doctoral students. The duration for postgraduate scholarship is 2-3 years; the duration for doctoral scholarship is 3-4 years. 2.Teaching language is Chinese in general, some schools offer courses taught in English for some specializations.(For details about introduction on Chinese universities and majors, please visit csc.edu.cn/laihua or campuschina.org )； 3. The duration of scholarship is the period of studying determined on admission which includes professional studying and Chinese learning period. The duration can not be extended in principle. Scholarship details ●Exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, laboratory fee, internship fee and the fee for basic learning materials; ●Provide free accommodation on campus； ●Provide scholarship for living expense； ●Provide one-time relocation fee for the first time in china; ● Provide outpatient medical service and Chinese government scholarship students’ comprehensive medical insurance. Application channel and application time The applicant should apply directly to Nanchang University; the application time is generally from 15th January to 1st April. Application condition 1.Non Chinese citizens, healthy； 2.Students who are not studying in china(students who studied in china must have graduated for more than 1 year)； 3.Education and age requirement： ●Applicants for master’s degree studies must have a bachelors degree and not above 35 years old； ●Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have a masters degree, not above 40 years old. Application procedure 1.The applicant may submit an application directly to Nanchang university； 2.The applicant must log in the CSC study in china online registration system（after logging in csc.edu.cn/laihua or campuschina.org ，click” online registration students entrance icon to enter)，fill in the application information form online, submit it online and print Chinese government scholarship application form； 3.The applicant must prepare relevant materials according to the following list of Application material , and submit it within the prescribed time to the relevant university. Notes: CSC only accept the application from candidate recommended by universities for independent recruitment program, direct application of individual student will not be accepted. Application material (all in duplicate) 1.Chinese government scholarship application form (fill in Chinese or English); 2. Notarized diplomas for highest education. If the applicant is a university student, a studying certificate issued by the university must be provided. The text not written in Chinese or English should be attached with notarized Chinese or English translation; 3.Academic transcript. Letters of recommendation from two professors or associate professors, written in Chinese or English; 6.Applicants for music major must submit their own works in CD;applicants for fine arts major must provide 2 sketches , 2 color paintings and 2 other works in CD; 7.Foreigner physical examination form copy（keep the original form with yourself),this form is uniformly printed by China health and quarantine department, it can be downloaded from CSC’s website csc.edu.cn/laihua or campuschina.org ,and must be completed in English.he applicant should be examined strictly in accordance with the requirements of the programs of Foreigner physical examination form. Foreigner physical examination form is invalid if missed a program, not affixed with applicant’s own photo, photo not covered by the seal or no signature of physicians &hospital seal. The examination results will be valid for 6 months, please select your examination time; 8. If HSK test report is available, please attach it in the application materials. Notes: Please bind all the application materials in the upper left corner in the order stated above(in two volumes). Application materials should be posted to CSC before April 1st by universities undertaking the recruitment for this scholarship program. Regardless of whether admitted or not, the application materials will not be returned. Admission and notification 1. Universities undertaking the independent recruitment program are responsible for reviewing the application materials, and to determine candidates for admission; 2. Candidates admitted by universities and verified as qualified by CSC will obtain Chinese government scholarship to study in china; 3. Each scholarship recipient can only be funded by one Chinese government scholarship program; for the scholarship applicant who is admitted by different universities simultaneously, CSC preserves the scholarship eligibility for one university only. 4. CSC will send the Admission notice And Visa application for study in china (JW201 form) to the university before the end of June, and the university will deliver the above-mentioned documents to the student; 5. Scholarship recipient can not change the university after arrival in china; the major and studying period can not be changed in principle; 6. Students who can not arrive in china in accordance with the admission period, the scholarship eligibility will not be reserved.
