Chipembere Rhino Foundation has been very busy the past few months with little office time. We often get asked how are funds spent. Below is an example of the donations we have made in October and November 2013 to assist with the protection of Rhino: 2 x Rhino leg collars to KwaZulu Natal reserve R5590.00 1 x Telonics Rubber Duck Antenna R3420.00 Helicopter airtime for Rhino procedure R7524.00 1 x Telemetry receiver R8607.00 3 x Refurbishment of old leg collars R4959.00 7 x Rhino leg collars to Eastern Cape reserves R19551.00 1 x Ground to Air radio R3990.00 2 x Whip antenna for vehicles in Botswana R5450.27 The above excludes funds set aside to assist with on going investigations and flying time for helicopter assistance.
