Chiropractic can increase your muscle strength and prevent fatigue Preliminary research presented at the World Federation of Chiropractic Congress has demonstrated a positive effect of full spine chiropractic on muscle strength and fatigue. After adjustment subjects were able to increase their maximal lower limb muscle contraction by 75%; other measures suggested fatigue occurred in the muscles of control subjects, but not in those post adjustment. The study was a collaboration between the Centre for Chiropractic Research in New Zealand, and Professor Kemal Türker, neurophysiologist at the Koc University School of Medicine, Istanbul, Turkey.
