Chivalry - Coming to #Xbox 360 and #PlayStation 3 soon Ok, Ill admit it. This game went way over my head as its title is news to me, and Im not a PC gamer. Chivalry launched on PC in October of 2012, and yes, that was two years ago. So why now, would the game release on last gen systems? Beats us...with a mace. From first impressions of watching the latest trailer below, you would think meh, doesnt look great, but thats because you instantly thought of #Skyrim or #Oblivion. Well dont! Watch the entire video, which is only a minute long, and you might just find yourself interested in the tongue-in-cheek, gruesome gameplay! A first-person Medieval combat title sounds like a good bit of fun. Add in a multiplayer mode, and you have successfully grabbed our attention. Tell us more! Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is a multiplayer action video game developed by #TornBannerStudios as their first commercial title. The game is set in a fictional world resembling the Middle Ages and offers similar gameplay combat to the developers previously released Half-Life 2 mod, Age of Chivalry. Combat is primarily melee, carried out from either a first person or third person perspective using medieval implements of war: swords, maces, longbows, and other weaponry of the time are used to hack, smash, and rain arrows down upon enemies. The game also features ballistae, catapults, and boiling oil to use on enemies and their fortifications. Online matches are affected through objective-based gameplay, such as breaching a castle gate with a battering ram or looting a foes camp. Reviews for Chivalry: Medieval Warfare (the name itself being amazing!) on PC are pretty good, sitting at a 79 rating, so were crossing our swords, hoping that the console port lives up to expectation and can deliver a fun experience, despite not releasing on new gen systems, which is pretty odd.
