Chocolate dog update. Early this morning she was very distressed so I took her out onto the lawn where she had the worlds longest wee!!! The relief on her face was wonderful. She then had some rice and ham, and then rice and chicken throughout the day and regular trips on to the lawn. Cannula out at lunchtime which made life so much better. She had a wonderful roll on the 6 of grass I still have on the lawn.. thats a sign of a happy Choc. Improved throughout the day and has now gone to her normal bed which has lovely clean warm bedding in it and covered over with a blanket which sh will shed at speed knowing her... eating, drinking and functioning. Still very tender but on the road to recovery. Thank so much to my wonderful vet Jenny, who got her back onto the right track so soon. Wonderful help from other friends as well... whats the point of having a vet student as a friend if you cant get her to help!! Great job Mary ably assisted by Oliver her dad. Choccy was very grateful xx
